Hello, and thank you for taking the time to know a little about me. I am Dr. Kshitij Srivastava, currently in the final year of my MD in Psychiatry at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore. I completed my MBBS from GSVM Medical College, Kanpur. Psychiatry, for me, is not just a profession but a passion that allows me to connect deeply with people, understand the complexities of the human mind, and help bring about positive change in others’ lives. I am calm, empathetic, and grounded by nature—qualities I believe are essential both professionally and personally. I come from a close-knit, well-educated, and respected family with strong values and a progressive outlook. My father is a Senior Consultant in the ENT Department at Civil Hospital, Lucknow, and my mother is in the Public Health sector. My younger sister is also a doctor and is preparing for her postgraduate medical entrance. Our home is filled with warmth, laughter, intellectual discussions, and mutual respect. Outside of my profession, I am someone who enjoys life’s simple pleasures. I have a deep love for nature and often find peace in long walks, scenic getaways, and exploring new cultures through travel. I enjoy watching documentaries, particularly those featuring challenging roads and terrains across the world—it fascinates me how perseverance shapes journeys, much like life itself. I make a conscious effort to stay updated with current affairs and global events, which helps me stay informed and aware beyond my medical circle. Health and wellness are an important part of my lifestyle. I engage in regular walking, light exercise, and enjoy music as a way to unwind. Spiritually, I hold traditional values close to my heart and respect all religions. I believe in a life of balance—between ambition and contentment, work and family, growth and gratitude. I would describe myself as someone who is sincere, emotionally mature, and family-oriented. I value honesty, communication, and mutual respect in a relationship. I am looking for a partner who is compassionate, understanding, and open-minded—someone with whom I can build a life filled with shared dreams, harmony, and trust. I deeply respect individuality and believe that every person brings their own light and strength into a relationship. I would love to support my future partner in her goals—whether professional or personal—and be her strongest pillar of encouragement.
