I am Rajneesh Bhaskar Gupta, belonging to a respected Baniya family rooted in strong cultural and traditional values. I am a practicing Advocate and currently serving as the Assistant Advocate General for the Government of Punjab. My core legal practice is based in Delhi—primarily before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and the Delhi High Court—as well as the Punjab and Haryana High Court.Over the years, I have been empanelled as Legal Counsel with several prestigious government bodies and institutions, including the Government of NCT of Delhi, Union of India, Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee, and the Indian Wlifting Federation.Academically, I hold an M.A. in Criminology and Police Administration, an LL.B (-year program), and an LL.M (-year program). I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Criminal Law. In recognition of my contributions to sports, I was also awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Sports by Brookfield International University, USA.Apart from my legal career, I am passionately involved in sports. I am a certified International Category- Referee in wlifting and have represented India as a Technical Official in the World Championships (twice), Commonwealth Championships, Asian Championships, and several national-level events for over years.For my dedication and contribution to both the legal profession and the field of sports, I was honored with the prestigious National Gaurav Award 0 by the Indian Brave Hearts Foundation at a ceremony held in New Delhi.On the personal front, I come from a close-knit and well-settled family. I have elder brothers and one elder sister— all of whom are married and residing in Bihar. Our parents live with my eldest brother in Bihar.I believe in leading a meaningful and balanced life—upholding values of integrity, commitment, and mutual respect.
