At the age of 15 Kahan S. Dhillon, Jr. became one of the youngest interns in the history of the US Congress working both in the US House of Representatives and Senate. That same year Mr. Dhillon was recognized and included as a member of the “Who’s Who Among American High School Students Class of 1995/96”. He founded his first venture at the age of 17 which realized revenues that doubled the initial startup investment in only its first year. At 19 while still attending Marymount College in Palos Verdes, CA he co-founded EFM, Inc. an IT firm specializing in Human Resources Enterprise Systems. EFM, Inc. through its online employment portal became one of the early pioneers of the online “real time recruiting” market. In 2003, Mr. Dhillon formed Regent Company, LLC a diversified Real Estate Investment Firm which achieved multi-million dollar revenues in only its first year and half of existence. The company is comprised of five business divisions. The firm in 2005 was named the top “Small Business of the Year” by the Mount-Vernon Lee Chamber of Commerce. Most recently while Regent continues to progress Mr. Dhillon and Santana Moss of the Washington Redskins joined forces and created Moss-Dhillon Enterprises, LLC a Diversified Investment Holding Company to further diversify their respective business interests. Mr. Dhillon is also a partner in United Capital Group, LLC a Real Estate Investment Partnership which invests primarily in the acquisition and repositioning of distressed residential and commercial properties throughout the DC Metro area. Mr. Dhillon has always had a strong personal commitment to giving back and positively impacting his community. He serves on the Board of Directors and Advisory Boards of both for and non-profit organizations. Examples of both include being an active member of Kiwanis a worldwide organization that focuses on aiding the children of the world where he serves as the recent Past President of the Mt. Vernon Chapter and the Advisory Board of a growing almost $1 billion dollar Bank based in the Commonwealth of Virginia. For Mr. Dhillon one of his greatest passion’s lies in his fervent belief that “our children are our future” In addition his work on Boards and Organizations both at the local and state level who focus on youth and their development Mr. Moss and Mr. Dhillon along with the Principal of Mt. Vernon High School created a unique program for at risk students called Santana’s 30/30 Club. The 30/30 Club combines academic achievement, citizenship, and mentorship into one programmatic vehicle that has produced tremendous results. The program in 2009 was honored to receive one the Fairfax County Public Schools prestigious Blue Ribbon Awards. Also in 2009 Mr. Dhillon’s work with youth led to his appointment to the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Board of Juvenile Justice by then Governor Timothy M. Kaine. Now 37, Mr. Dhillon to mention a few of current and recently previous involvements serves on numerous Boards and Committees both locally and nationally, recently completed his term as the Chairman of the Mount Vernon-Lee Chamber of Commerce which serves businesses and the community in an area that is the both the most populated and fastest growing part of Fairfax County, and was appointed in 2005 to the critical County Task Force tasked with planning the future Urban Design, Land Use, and Transportation for Tyson’s Corner which included millions of new sq. ft. of development and billions in economic development. Utilizing his extensive experience working with communities and businesses Mr. Dhillon through 2009 to the present has led a critical effort by the Mount Vernon Council of Citizens Associations (MVCCA) the largest umbrella homeowner HOA organization in Fairfax County as the Chair of its Long Range Strategic Planning Committee through the process of planning for the future of the Mt. Vernon District inclusive of Richmond Highway which is one of the County’s longest continuous Commercial c
